Coronavirus Update 27th March 2020

As you will be aware, the government has issued stringent guidelines for travel and business at this unprecedented time.

As we have no idea how long these guidelines will be in place, we are offering ALL our guests, who have already booked with us for 2020, the opportunity to Transfer their reservations and stay with us either later in the year or to stay with us in 2021.

If you have booked directly through us, you will need to let us know what your plans are at least 7 days before your arrival date. You will need to either send an email to info@baycottagepaignton.co.uk or to call us on 01803 525 729. Please provide your full name and your booking reference number (this is in the subject line of the confirmation email).

You can either give us specific dates to move your reservation to, or, you can just tell us you would like to Transfer your booking, and that you will be in touch with us again when you know what dates you can stay with us.

All Transfers are free of charge and subject to availability. All bookings made so far this year are eligible for Transfer up until 31st December 2021.

If you have booked your reservation through an OTA such as Booking.com or Hotels.com, you will need to call them at least 14 days before your arrival in order to Transfer your booking to new dates. Please don’t leave it any later than 14 days before your arrival date, because the OTAs often take a while to fulfill such requests. Please note that if you have booked your stay with us through an OTA, we cannot make any changes to your reservation. You must speak to your OTA yourself.

Please understand that if you decide to cancel your booking with us, you will lose your non-refundable deposit. This is why we are offering all our guests free of charge Transfers at this time.

If we don’t hear from you 7 days before your arrival date and are unable to contact you, we will assume that you wish to cancel your reservation and you will lose your non-refundable deposit.

We will be keeping our guests updated as and when we know what is happening. We will be doing this through our online Newsletter and our Blog. Please sign up to either one of these to stay informed of the current situation at Bay Cottage.
